A Different Side to the Durham Castle
Seeing as though we just went on a field trip to Durham this past week, I thought that I should show the lovely architecture of the Durham Cathedral. I like the tree branches on the side of it because it represents depth and scale. I also decided to keep the person's hat in the bottom right hand corner because it shows how big the structure is and someone looking up at it.Beautiful but Deadly
These lovely white and pink flowers are actually filled with some type of poisonous substance and can be located in the poison gardens at the Alnwick Gardens. I thought that this close-up was nice because these were some of the only flowers in the entire garden that were in bloom at this time of year.Looking through Water
I cannot get over this fountain and so I wanted to try and view it in as many different ways possible. I went up to the edge of one of the sides and looked through the various shooting water spouts and got this. I thought that it was kind of different from of the pictures that I had taken. I like the color variation of browns, greens and blues.Shooting Water
